Are jointed stirrups legal in a hunter pleasure class being judged by the AQHA rule book
You might want to add something about AQHA rules in your title to catch the eyes of someone who knows those rules.
Not familar with the AQHA rule book. Jointed stirrups are everywhere in the USE hunters. I wouldn’t show in the blingy or brightly colored ones in the USE hunters, because they’de be considered “unconvential tack” but you see pretty much everything in the jumpers. I believe there are some restrictions on types of stirrups in the Eq.
FWIW, I did a Google image search on AQHA Hunter Pleasure, and there were a couple of jointed stirrups and a bunch of the black composite stirrups in the photos.
I would still want to check the rule book.
