Jos and Laura Sevriens training or others south of ATL?

I’m looking for trainers that are south of Atlanta (the closer to AL the better) for trailer-in lessons. I found Jos & Laura Sevriens in Newnan, GA.

Does anyone have any info on training experiences with them?

or

Any other recommendations in that area? I don’t want to go into or north of ATL.

Depends on how far south of Atlanta you want, and how close to Alabama.

Marjolein and Werner Geven are the resident trainers at Poplar Place Farm (just north of Columbus). They are very capable and very experienced, although Werner is more of an eventer.

There is also Tom Harvey at Quail Valley Farm. He is in Dawson, GA (between Columbus and Albany).

As for Jos and Laura Sevriens - they are very capable and very experienced. Laura and their daughter Emma were trained primarily by Jos, and have very successful show records. Also, a previous barn used to have Jos in to help with some FEI horses and the experiences were all good.

Thank you all for the messages! I am hoping to do clinics/rides with a couple of different trainers going forward, so all of this is helpful. One of the girls at my barn travels to poplar for lessons with Marjolein, so I will likely go with her for those in the future as well as find some other opportunities.

Quail Valley Farm is probably just a hair too far. Poplar is an hour and Newnan is about 1 hr 20min, but a straight shot on the interstate.

I know your looking for south of Atlanta, but check out Shannondale Farms in Alpharetta. Julie hosts tons of clinics throughout the year and the facility is fabulous for clinics if you can ship up. I think she has Anne Gibbons coming in July.
