Jump pole covers

I HATE painting jump poles.
I have seen ads for the pole covers, but they seem pricey. Has anyone used them, what are they made of?
any other ideas? I saw some stuff called vet cling, that they seem to wrap on everything, but can’t find it in the US. Would have some of it shipped if it really worked.

Looking for something that is either really easy, or once it is applied will last forever. (preferably cheap too…).

If this existed everyone would be using it.

check out Jump 4 Joy jumps. They aren’t cheap but they are what you are looking for.

I have drooled over those poles, but they are cost prohibitive for me, especially when they have to be shipped as well.

I want the Berlingham ones but they are so so expensive.
Maybe just hire someone to paint them for you. Even if you paid them very, very well it would probably be cheaper!

I second the hire the job done --we paint our jumps about once every 10 years --a teenager with a small wagon of supplies goes from one to the other where they stand in the jump pasture and has at it. She can do six poles an hour using the basic white --wing standards and elements take longer --then she goes back day two and puts on color. With 9 obstacles it’s about a two-three day job, but I let her work at her own pace --we do discuss how long she thinks it will take her after she finishes the first day so that we don’t get into an endless task.
