I was just talking to my Dad about something completely different and unhorse- related and he came up with this: “Wanna Wackyu”
I can see a Shetland called this haha

My daughters first pony was Sugar Spice and Everything Nice, he was a strawberry roan we called Spicey, I absolutely hated squeezing that name on entries but it was too cute, when we sold him to DD trainer to be a lesson pony she changed his show name to McCormick
My pony’s new show name is “Better Than Ice Cream.” Because no one would let me call her “Petunia Penelope.”
SPICE ~~ My Heart Pony ~

aww! Our Spice was a mutt, or as we liked to call him a Thelwell, likely tons of Shetland in him and DD’s heart pony also. We let him go to lesson farm for now to teach the teeny up downers since he’s such a great little guy, and we could see him every time DD has a lesson. He’ll come back to us in a few years, we can’t let him go somewhere where we won’t see him.
I knew a Spicy too, show name Simply Spicy. There was also a Simply Sassy in our barn - and she was!
Fatty McButterpants still takes the cake for me though.
My 10 year old son named his first pony “Speed Devil” aka “Speedy”.
Oreo was black with socks and blaze.
Cookies 'n Cream was palomino.
Many years ago Texas Monthly columnist Prudence MacIntosh wrote something about the noise her little boys’ sneakers made when they were tumbling in the dryer. Her boys (three of 'em, if I recall correctly) said it sounded like thundering sneakers. I thought Thundering Sneakers would be a great name for a pony with four white socks.
I once knew a paint pony called Half n Half.
I have one named Nuisance - it fits perfectly :D.
Christa
There used to be a fat little Haflinger X pony at the barn where I boarded named Sweet Tooth aka “Brownie”
When I used to show on a couple of local h/j circuits, there was a pony who showed often under the name of Almost Alpo. I always wondered if he was a meat truck rescue … or used to be a right little sh**.
An acquaintance went through a nasty divorce, purchased her dream driving pony, and competes said pony under the name Alimony. Always liked that one.
Supersize Me
I have known 3 ponies with the barn name Pony.
Wash Rinse Repeat was a grey pony I used to know… Always thought that was very fitting!
Love this name too !
Love this name too especially for a grey pony ~ very cute !
Sho’ Nuff Tuffstuff
I am so purchasing a pony and naming him Al Capony.
I can never remember who came up with the name, but someone on COTH gave us the best name for one of my kid’s ponies - she plays ice hockey and wanted to have something hockey related in his name…
Zampony.
