Just some trail pics from today

Took a trail ride today. Actually brought my camera along, though I admit our trails aren’t terribly exciting, they’re still pretty with all the green?

Heading out the gate off the farm.

We head down this driveway, cross in front of the trailer, and head in to the woods over on the right hand side of the picture

In between the only two hills on the ride

It’s a lumber tree farm, so most of the trails are pretty straight and wide and the trees tend to be in rows.

MacGyver is just adorable here

See what I mean about rows?

It really amuses me that the dark part of Kieran’s mane is half the thickness of the white part.

This was on the trail heading back to the barn and I had him turned away from it so we could get a pic. Kieran is saying here, “no…no. See. The barn is THAT way.”

Then he straightened up.

Oh yeah, and my BO who was behind us took some pictures with her iphone.
This one shows off my snazzy half chaps.

Her horse is spotted, too.

Does Kieran’s butt make mine look smaller? LOL

I love the photos! Very pretty riding trails. Thanks for sharing.

I love looking at pictures! Thanks for posting them. Very pretty horses

Dorothy

Pretty horses, pretty trails - and I love the helmets.

Beautiful photos!

I need to remember to start bringing my camera along on trail rides. . .sigh.

I love your horse!

Adorable horses, especially MacGyver. Did he get that name because he can build things out of random stuff in the tack room?
Your trails remind me very much of the trails I used to ride in Georgia. Soft pine needle-bedded sandy access roads through miles and miles of pines!

I looove riding through pine forests! There aren’t many areas like that around here - maybe short sections on some trails, but not much. . .

Kieran is adorable! I love the second picture with his ear cocked back. He seems to be listening to the camera going off…

You’re lucky to have straight, flat trails. Around here we have rocks everywhere. It must be so enjoyable to look at the scenery instead of constantly looking down and navigating over and around rocks.

Did you post pictures a long time ago of him in a treeless saddle?

I probably did. We had a Barefoot for a while but I didn’t really use it so I ended up selling it.

Your riding looks really pretty! I miss having woods to ride in, around here is is just flat and open farmland for miles. I love Kieran, he looks really kind and a total cutie

Ah, I thought I recognized that cutie of a horse ;)… I love his build. He must be fun to ride.

Love the pics! I don’t have many pics of me trail riding - I’m usually the one behind the camera!
