K&K Bee Trailers

Has anyone purchased one of the newer K&K Bee trailers lately? I can get it custom with tack room, drop down windows on one side, stock bars on the other, full-size escape door and 7’6 brand new for under $10,000 with TTL. They have a lifetime floor warranty and a 5 year structural warranty. I’m not finding a whole lot of reviews either way on them, but I know people like Bee.

I live in Louisiana, so like the half stock option for air flow since it’s so hot down here. Escape door is a must have for me, and i need at least 7 feet, prefer 7’6. Louisiana has a really bad horse market and used trailer market - most of what I have seen are CM stock trailers that aren’t tall enough or 20-30 year old sundowners. I’ve heard horror stories about Shadow trailers.

There aren’t a whole lot of decent brand dealerships down here- mostly CM and the like and Shadow. This seems like a reasonable price to have everything I want. Don’t need anything fancy, just hauling to local shows under 1.5 hours away.

Any thoughts?

well I no experience with the line and it was hard to find anything about them as K&K is a subsidiary of Bee Trailers, Inc. The K&K line is their economical branding of the Bee Trailers, Inc

Bee Trailers has been a leader in manufacturing top of the line trailers for many years. During that time, we have recognized the need for a quality, yet affordable, line of horse and cattle trailers.

With almost 50 years of manufacturing experience behind us, we are proud to offer this new line of K & K Trailers. We have taken some of the fundamentals that make a trailer reliable and long lasting, and incorporated them into these trailers. Features such as pressure treated flooring, undercoating, triple “T” frame, and automotive grade paint and primer, are what set us apart from the competition.

We believe that the customer should not have to compromise quality for an affordable price.

personally I would what to know more about the relationship between K&K and Bee since it appears to be a wholly owned separated subsidiary …which normally is done specifically to separate liability and in some cases to develop a concept that can be easily sold off without damage to the primary company

They may have this arrangement solely to tack costs or reduce taxes as Bee could charge K&K all sorts of costs that would be an expense to that subsidiary, really do not know but would want to know

K& K is the lower end version from Bee trailers - compare the construction, framing / spacing etc and the K&K is more lightly built, compare that K&K and you will see the CM is not as lightly built…
