Kalgo Infrared Heaters in Barn?

Does anyone have these (past or present) for use in their barns as heaters or drying off, etc. ?
Any experience with the company, and what models you have, would be appreciated.
I am looking into infrared heaters for stalls, aisle, and wash rack, for a small barn.

I had a Kalglo heater in my wash stall when I lived in the Midwest. It was one of the simple models, hard wired to an on/off switch. Great for drying quickly on chilly days.

Would you say it would work effectively above a stall as well?

I love these. I use one to keep my tack room toasty, that one is wired to a thermostat. Then I have two over my washrack. They do work over stalls as well. Call kalglo and tell them exactly what results you are looking for and they will email you a list of exactly what you need, wiring requirements etc. They are great to work with.

I use it for my wash bay. I also purchase the dial so I can adjust the power. It generates a lot of heat so I think the dial is essential. Can’t imagine why it won’t work in stalls.

I just installed two of the HS-1215 120V models in my new wash stall. They are phenomenal and cost $250 ea. Kalglo was great to work with.

Heaters above stalls scare me given how flamable bedding is. I would imagine that these are as safe as they get, though.

Have one in the wash stall/grooming area and love it this time of year. It is on a timer and I usually turn it on and warm up the area before bringing in my horse. Having said that, it does get hot and so agree with VicariousRider that I would be very hesitant to put over a stall. That is what blankets are for…
