Kasey Perry-Glass and Betsy Steiner as clinicians?

Both are coming to my area later this year, and I’d like to budget to clinic with one or both of them. I was curious if anyone has ridden with either and has opinions or insights on their teaching styles?

For reference, my horse is an OTTB and we are Training level, touching First questions. As he’s gotten super fit, he’s become a lot of horse, so I’ve been looking for advice all year on riding a hotter horse.

I have only ridden with Betsy Steiner through one of the USDF sponsored adult clinics many years ago (2005/2006?). I thoroughly enjoyed it. I found her helpful, fair and willing to get on my horse who I backed/started and was at that time at first level. When she asked if she could get on I explained to her that he had only been ridden by me and no one else up to that point of time. She asked if I thought he’d be okay with her and I was honest in saying I had no reason to believe he’d be anything else but fine, confused possibly, but fine. I was thrilled to be able to watch as someone else with far more skill rode him. He’s a welsh cob, now 23. I got some great pointers as to what to work on from that clinic. I found her very encouraging despite being an amateur with a very unconventional breed at that time (Cardi if you know who he is had not really hit the scene yet). We did eventually make it to PSG, earning our silver several years later. I would not hesitate to ride with her again.
