Keeneland track PolyTrack to Dirt?

Just wondering…What happened to the 16,000 tons of PolyTrack that were removed from the Keeneland track renovation? In the right weather, over the right base, it can make very nice arena footing. Also, as a footing geek, how cool is using the polymer.rubber crumb permeable surface (like Polylast) over drainage boxes at the rail to form a drainage base under the track surface there?

Not sure what happened to the Keeneland polytrack, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it ended up at various local barns for arena footing. I know a couple farms in the area have poly surfaces in their arenas and walkers, sourced from Turfway or Keeneland leftovers in the past. I’m guessing that “those in the know” were recipients of some of Keeneland’s removal.

I think the Keeneland Association has stated that it is being stored somewhere on the property (perhaps on their facebook page? I read it somewhere). Not sure if there are plans to sell it or what.

It was definitely for sale.
