Keenland-Watching workouts on Monday

My daughter is going to Lexington for the KHP Summer classic and then Pony Finals. Monday will be an off day for the ponies and they are thinking of going to Keenland to watch workouts Monday morning. Is this Monday August3rd a good day? Are all days the same? What is it like? These girls are between the ages of 11 & 15.

Horses work from 6am to 10am every day. If you stand near the gap (where the horses enter and leave the track) there always seems to be a waiting rider willing to pose for pictures :lol: Make sure to stop for breakfast at the track kitchen.

Watching morning works at Keeneland is one of my favorite things to do on a nice Kentucky morning. The girls will love it
