Keep or sell trailer - WWYD?

Definitely sell. The cost alone of storage/parking isn’t worth it. If you scrimp on the parking, the trailer could easily be damaged or stolen. Aside from that, trailers need periodic maintenance, tires will dry rot, there could be a leak, the floor could rust, wires can get chewed on by mice, etc. Additionally, over the four years the trailer will depreciate. And in the meantime, I don’t know how you are paying for vet school, but if you are taking out any loans it probably would make sense to have the money from the trailer. Lastly, who knows how soon after you graduate from vet school you will need the trailer again. It might be quickly, but there might be circumstances you can’t foresee. Maybe when you get back to horse ownership and riding again you won’t need a trailer right away.
