The phone number for the colt’s consignor (Bluewater Sales) is on this page: Facebook

Ask to speak with Meg Levy.

I can message you Meg’s cell instead of the office if you are really interested. I am here to enable!

Let’s go Snaffle! If you don’t ask, the answer is always no!

Snaffle,
I finally looked at which horse you are talking about. He was bred by Secret Oath’s breeders. His full brother last year had tons of white and was so sweet. You should call and see what they say!

A total aside:
Every time I see this topic heading it amuses me that the sales company is referred to as Kennel-and rather than Keeneland.

Sorry I have been MIA since my last post. Wow, thank you all so very much. I wouldn’t even know where to begin on trying to go about asking, seeing him job, asking about previous vet work, etc. Especially to a TB consignor over a sport horse prospect.

I did go back and see that no one bought him PS either. A bit sad for him

They probably won’t jog him for you. They’ll give it the college try, but I doubt it will be useful. They’ll disclose any previous surgeries and vaccines, last farrier dated, deworming etc. He went back to his breeder’s farm, maybe you’ll see him in a 2 yr old sale!

  1. Is he still for sale?
  2. How much does the owner want for him?
  3. Will you text/email me his vet sheet? (this is a summary of the results of his 32 x-rays and scope. Vaccines, etc will be up to date and will be on his health cert.)
  4. (If there’s something on the vet sheet you don’t like you can send a vet to the repository to look at the actual films.)
  5. No jogging, sorry.

Even with the incredible feeding frenzy at the top for the million dollar yearlings, it looks like the average and the median will be below last year. Which just goes to show the gap is widening between the top tier horses that everyone is willing to pay anything for, and the rest.

The European averages seem to be holding up well this year.

What color would you call #215? About 1:09:00 in the video in the original post. A kind of chestnut? Chocolate buckskin? :woman_shrugging: Just a curiosity question. Thanks!

Gray.

Oh, ok. Thanks!

The Stay Thirstys selling at Fasig Tipton on the west coast today are all a very uniform, flashy group. Impressed looking through them today

No, I am here. I do not check the BB every day and will typically be gone for several days or weeks at a time.

I decided to pass, for now. I love the horse and would be very interested in having him. But I am a distance a way and things have been rather hectic this past week: I honestly have not had the time needed to reach out and start that conversation. I may be in the Lexington area in the coming weeks and if those plans come to fruition I can make a phone call and if the stars align maybe go see him myself if they are interested in selling to non-racing home. I am not in a position to own another horse in race-training at this time and quite honestly not interested in doing so right now.
