Dr. Christian Schacht will be returning to Westbrooke Farm in Kennesaw GA on Saturday and Sunday, the 4th and 5th of December. We are looking forward to another wonderful and informative clinic with Christian.
Dr. Christian Schacht is a well-known equine educator, rider, judge, clinician, breeder, trainer, and author currently residing in Germany.
Christian’s bio includes:
• Extensive experience breeding sporthorses including Trakehners, Thoroughbreds, Arabians, and Oldenburgs
• Breeding Director for the ISR/Oldenburg N.A., the largest Registry of its kind in North America
• Twice won the German Championship for student riders and led the rankings for several years for both Dressage and Combination in the student rider divisions.
• Has trained and competed horses in the disciplines of Eventing, Dressage and Show Jumping up to Prix St. George and 1.40 meters
• International Judge for the highest levels of competition
• Dr. of Veterinary medicine, 1993
• 3 Masters degrees in equine disciplines
• Published author of several books about riding and maintaining the soundness of horses, including “Pferdekankheiter” and “Pferde Longieren” (not yet available in English), as well as a new book (2011) on Conformation which will also be published in English.
The Clinic will include dressage, jumping and event horses, and is open to all disciplines and levels of riders/horses.
There are 3 rings available for use, including a covered arena for inclement weather. Stabling is limited, please call for availability.
A videographer will be available to video all rides, $25 each ride, videos will be available same day so you can watch your ride and be prepared for the next day. Videos provided by Centerline Videos, Heather Polk, Videographer.
