Lauren Fischer also had what looked like a pretty bad fall in the WEF this afternoon. Anyone know if she is doing ok?
Hopefully Kent is ok! Is Jennifer Gates no longer riding with Hardin Towell?
I saw the Lauren Fischer fall - wow, poor girl! I hope she’s ok!
What happened? I looked away for a moment and missed it but she was on the ground for quite a while. Sending healing thoughts her way!
I hope Kent is not badly hurt and will be back riding soon, especially since he is looking to keep that #1 ranking going.

I’m at wef, heard he broke it.
Kent seems so invincible, even landing on his feet once (after winning a class), this is heartbreaking.

It’s sobering to remember even the best have injuries and aren’t always so lucky to come out unscathed.

He was scheduled to ride Creedance in a big class (one of my favorite of his mounts). I’m sure he’s gutted.
Best wishes to Kent for a speedy recovery. I hope he is able to ride again soon. He is also one of my favorite riders to watch in the jumper ring.

I’d say it’s pretty clear considering Mclain and now Kent have been riding the horses Hardin used to ride…
Not to hijack the thread but did they have a falling out? Or was Hardin a move up trainer for her before she went to the really big guns?
No idea…she still has Sayre Happy listed as a trainer but Hardin has disappeared. Just saying I’d elevate it above Horse Show Diva gossip.
lf it’s his lower leg, then perhaps it’s the fibula? If so, depending on the nature of the break, he might not be out too long. One can hope.
I don’t think it really matters - she has the money and the time and I’m pretty sure is graduating this year. If you want to win against the best in the world, you’ll want to start by riding with and having your horses ridden by the best in the world. It seems simple to me regardless of whatever personal anything went on.

I saw Kents post earlier. Did he have surgery on his leg? He didn’t give an update on his injury!
Dam…since he’s in a hospital gown with an IV in his arm, we can speculate he was admitted and will have surgery.
