Yay for him!!
Nice job, Team Farrington!
When they mentioned Kent & McLain as the only American No 1’s I became sad that we lost Meredith Michaels to the Germans because USET would not put her on a team unless she flew back for observation events. Our loss. She was No. 1 for two years in the colors of Germany.
I was at KY for the K3DE and watched him win the CSI5* with Greya. Awesome ride. I was mentioning to my husband that I wondered if this would put him in 1st place. Certainly didn’t hurt!
I’m not the tiniest bit surprised, he’s having an insane year! The amount of five star wins he has with SECONDS between him and second place is unreal. Go Kent!
That was a big mistake on the part of USET considering the caliber of riders she was competing against and beating in Europe. That competition was equal to or superior to the US riders she would have been competing against in the US observation trials.
You know how it is, rules are rules. At least that’s the way USEF looks at it. Besides there has been historically some litigation over who gets on the team in the past, hence the rules! Hahahaha
