Kentree Stables- High Hollow Farm Grand Rapids MI

Does anyone have any information about this stable and the trainer? Do they give lessons? Do they train clients at the higher levels- 3’6? Do they take good care of both clients and horses?

Personally, I would stay away. PM me for more information if you would like to.

This may be years late for the response above…but I figure if anyone is currently searching for Kentree, its better to have updated information out there.
As of this date, Kentree is a very professionally ran farm. The trainers are great, and all of the kids/students love their trainers.
They show at all levels! LEHS, MHJA, etc.

They travel all around to horse shows, including the biggie in Traverse City “Horse Shows By The Bay”.

They may not have the best turnout but that seems to be their only fault. The indoor ring is huge for winter riding, and the outdoor is lovely in the summer.

The trainers are great, but I would highly recommend Brett Sterling if you are interested in taking up riding at Kentree. He is a great person, very nice, and will do all necessary to build confidence or take you to the next level.

Is any more recent information available?

Kentree has 4 trainers , they attend everything from Schooling show series to KHP, Traverse City and soon to be Balmoral also Roberts Arena weather permitting. They have 3 IHSA teams training out of the barn and an IEA team . Turn out has gotten much better in the last year. They are a mixed barn with as many OTTB’s as Warmbloods , Kids outnumber adults but there is a solid Adult group of Boarders and riders , Rates are competitive with other area barns and if a horse doesn’t arrive fat it gets that way in a hurry , they do not skimp on grain and Hay . If you would like any further info feel free to call them, they are very happy to talk to or show prospective clients around .
