Just had a relative call and offer a donation for my WEG trip - her Shell credit card. :D:cool: Good for gas, gas station food, etc., and she said it has $1200 on it, which is way past what I’d be spending. She’ll also give a note authorizing me to use it, although I doubt that’s necessary. I worked as a home health aide for a few years, and I would go all the time to the store with checkbook and ID for my 80+ client who was on oxygen (including in her ID photo), and not one checker ever questioned it, although one did notice once the date, her birthday, and without pause wished me happy birthday. :lol:
Sounds like a neat trip perk, but I just wanted to make sure there are Shells around Lexington. I know specific brand gas stations aren’t always in all areas. It’s an even neater trip perk if I can use it. :yes:
Now if they’d only take it at the trade fair. Or Ticketmaster. :winkgrin:
