I LOVE course walks. This is great info, thanks for posting. We are definitely planning on seeing who is doing what and joining. I’d love to do 2 but maybe not back to back if we can help it! The last time I was at Rolex they still were letting course walks happen on the track. Ok, that was like an eon ago. lol
That was because he’d always poke a few people. Wasn’t it Buck who he said rode better mad?
This is great!!! Hope you can post here again giving details. We will be looking for course walks on the dressage days!
Jogs are my favorite to watch - particularly the “pre-jog” prep. When I can’t be there in person, I’ve somehow developed a… notoriety for my first jog outfit livestream commentary. Sadly, EN hasn’t drafted me to select fashion awards or document this commentary in any permanent form (probably good, I don’t hold back) but it’s somewhat amusing for those who know if you care to watch.
Does anyone have any experience selling tickets? We’ve decided not to travel from Canada and I’m not sure how to resell them. This is my first time posting.
Thank you so much!!
Disappointed not to be attending this year especially because my girls need new halters and there always seems to be a great assortment! I’m picky so don’t always like to buy online
Okay peeps, bumping this up because we are 12 DAYS OUT!! Who else is getting hype?? I just did my first round of snack/supply shopping today for our trip
I keep checking the website for the maps of the different shopping areas, they are not posted yet.
I’m excited, it will be my first time volunteering & I received my volunteer ticket & parking pass in the mail earlier this week, so made it real that it is coming up!
Started planning around course walks I am aware of & the different demos in the area for our Thursday/Friday plans. It is almost here!
I’ve been checking too, they should be up soon. Behind the Barn also started again on YT for anyone who watches that.
So funny you said this. I’m returning with best friend who went 24 years ago with me!
Draw order is live for 4* & 5*.
With multiple horses entered across both divisions, I am generally freaking out every day while making sure the horses can’t feel the vibes I packed a week ago so we are good to go but the stress is still there!
I can’t even imagine the logistics/planning/packing involved for competing at something of this scale. It’s a production for little nobody me to pack for a one day HT
Maps are posted of the sponsor village & the hill. Should mean the trade fair will also be posted soon?
(if anyone is ready to start planning their shopping…)
Do you have to attend a formal course walk? Or is xc open for walking on Thurs or Fri?
It is open for walking, you must stay outside the ropes no matter if you are walking yourself or if you are on a formal course walk. Saturday after XC is done, you can walk any of the lines or up the the fences that you want, but until XC is run, you must stay outside the ropes.
I enjoy the formal course walks because they can better explain questions or things to consider, which you may not be able to see from outside the ropes. The people leading the walks have the right credentials to walk on the actual course.
Where can I find a copy of the 4 and 5 star dressage test. Have looked all over the website and I can’t seem to find it ?
Test C for both according to omnibus
