Kentucky 2025

I didn’t think it was that bad – he just looked a bit labored last couple of jumps.

Thanks!!

The $400,000 5* Grand Prix is starting right now. It looks like they have a huge crowd of spectators there.

Just got home - is there any why to watch the re-runs if you only have a fan subscription to USEF? I Know this has been answered before but I am brain dead right now… need some Horse therapy! Do we know the winers in the 4* & 5* so disappointed to have missed it!

Very sad I haven’t managed to find a video of last night’s winner. Cashew won by 3 seconds!

I’m on USEF Network, and I can rewind into the 5 star, probably till the SJ finishes in a couple hours.

Irritating that the livestream feed isn’t showing a time clock/faults on screen for the Grand Prix

Almost always sold out or close to it.

I noticed that. Very odd. I’m sure it was on the screen during the previous classes.

It’s on the USEF network Facebook page, I believe.

Forgive me, I’m not an eventer - I just saw a clip of Calvin and his (at least I would call it) fall. I know there was some discussion upthread, but kind of at a loss to why that would not be cause for elimination!!

Thank you I will try!

Does anyone know what time the jog is tomorrow and whether it is live streamed?

OK, they just added the clock and the faults counter on the screen for the GP.

"In FEI Eventing, a horse fall is defined as when both the horse’s shoulder and quarters simultaneously touch either the ground or an obstacle and the ground, or when the horse is trapped in a fence and unable to proceed without assistance or risking injury, according to the FEI Glossary. "

Didn’t happen that the quarters fully hit. And shoulders didn’t, on the lateral sides. So no penalty.

Reportedly 7:30 am and that’s usually on the Defender Kentucky Three Day Event Facebook page. Here’s the link.

Press conferences from after both Dressage days and XC today are posted there as well.

Great day for Boyd……finally!!

His honesty is endearing. His comparison between British crowds and American ones was heartfelt, and really funny.

I really appreciated the fact that both Boyd and Michael Jung gave lots of credit to their horses and their owners and their support crew. Michael Jung even mentioned the staff working back at his farm in Germany while he’s in Kentucky.

Props to both of them for giving credit where it’s due.
