Audio/video desync happening today as well. Unfortunate, as SJ is the worst event for this to happen… always hate hearing a pole fall and the crowd’s disappointment a second before actually seeing it! I hope they can fix it.
It’s going to drive me nuts!
At one point this morning, I had the jog on two different screens. The overlapping sound from the horses’ footfalls was extremely confusing. Lol.
Magic indeed. Jung and Chipmunk are so in sync the word centaur comes to mind.
why don’t they have a timer going on the screen so we can actually follow what is going on with the SJ?
feel a bit sad for the pony, trying her heart out but just not making the height and width.
Livestream not working for me for the first time this weekend. Anyone else?
Are you guys seeing a horse in the ring yet? I’m still seeing tractors in the ring at this point.
And now somebody singing My Old Kentucky Home.
I had to refresh the page - I too was having problems
That was the start of it-you need to probably either refresh or drag the red bar to the end at the bottom. You aren’t live
Me too-she got rails in the last triple I watched her go through too, I don’t remember what show. Just couldn’t make the strides.
I am nervous for Cassie Sanger’s round later today-her last couple showjumping rounds haven’t been great. Lots of rails and then a CR at the last combined test she did.
I started watching but I just can’t watch hunters.
Thanks.
I think I’ll just stick with the delay, since otherwise I will miss somebody.
Clock is finally up.
I don’t know why they should be having an issue with that. The same thing happened in the Grand Prix last night, if I recall correctly.
well when you drive a sportscar…
I don’t care.
They’re doing a broadcast to a wide audience who might not know anything about horses, so they could be a little more conscious of the language they use.
The words quiet or relaxed or mellow would have worked just as well for their purposes.
For example, the person doing the commentary just now on the western horsemanship class referred to the horse as quiet and kind. Not lazy.
I’m watching the broadcast of the NCEA championship on ESPNU on my TV, which is where they were referring to one of the horses as lazy.
I’m also watching the live stream from Kentucky, so I have two screens going on with very different activities. Lol.
