I saw it on the scoring.

Answering my own question: the shopping at Kentucky is SO much better.

I shopped ‘til I dropped. I probably only watched a half dozen rides I was so busy shopping.

Thank you- I spoke to Molly Brown - She got my membership, sign in, and passwords organized… Thank you Molly! However… I am not able to figure out how to watch the reruns of todays dressage tests… Clip My Horse is not user friendly! but I am old so that may be part of the problem. However I will be calling the Unsinkable Molly Brown tomorrow!

Agree! He looked like a Dressage Pro! Could have gone down centerline in Wellie World!

how can you access the on demand re-plays - I am a paid subscriber - I am trying to watch the test from todays dressage and can’t - I am old so maybe I need simpler instructions? I missed a few of the tests and would like to re-watch several of the tests… can someone give me instructions on how to re-watch? I am a paid USEF subscriber.

Does this work for you?

I agree. I have spent more $$$ here than ever. Reins, face cream, helmet, Aussie waxed jacket, saddle pad, K3D quilted sweatshirt, 2 3De drinking glasses. And I still need to go through the lower part of the covered arena.

I wish I could. (I’m a fully paid up participating member of the USEF too. I thought this gave me premium membership.) I go on through the USEF network site, try to link my membership, and nothing happens. I get to watch an ad then 2 seconds of a ride and then it tells me I need to link my membership and nothing happens again. So frustrating. No instructions. no clarity about what you can and can’t watch with what level of membership. It’s very unclear as to what one actually needs to do in order to watch anything. I hate this system. With a passion. I used to watch a lot of USEF network stuff, but not anymore.

I agree… I have trouble linking mine as well. I’m good with tech, too. They clearly did not test it very well, using multiple devices and different scenarios. There was a ‘help’ video from USEF which was useless, as they only showed one path.

I finally had it work yesterday to show a few dressage tests, then it flipped out and told me to link my account. Not sure who dropped the ball then kicked it out of the yard, never to be seen again. Either USEF or ClipMyHorse. But for what is arguably one of their bigger events, this is a very, very bad impression in exchange for what I assume is simple a way to provide CMH with USEF’s user data.

Really disappointing.

I’ve noticed a lot more sales/“show specials” than in years passed too. Sergio Grasso has 20% off any purchase over $250 (which is basically any purchase), and I got a show special price on an air vest from Riderzon, like a several hundreds of dollars savings :exploding_head:

I also love having Fair Hill Saddlery here in full force. They were one of our first stops and I got a new jump whip.

4 withdrawn from the 4* including Tamie’s Danito who was in 8th.

Update from Tamie on withdrawing Danito from the 4*. Makes sense to want to give him some atmosphere, but not run the full thing after he’s had some time off. Hopefully we’ll see him running the 5* here next year! Or maybe in Maryland.

I’m confused about Tamie Smith’s decision to withdraw her chestnut after dressage, especially where she says “it was never intended” to run at Kentucky. Why enter (and take a space) if you’re only doing dressage? Why not just go to a dressage show? Just curious.

She specifically said she wanted to expose him to the atmosphere. I can’t think of any dressage shows for adult athletes where you would get the same kind of atmosphere at 3rd/4th level. You’d have to be doing a CDI Grand Prix for that, which he obviously isn’t doing.

I do not understand that either. It is incredibly expensive to enter. And to transport him clear across the country, why do that? Is money so fungible you can afford to do that?

This morning I received an email from Equestrian Events indicating that the KY livestream would be available for free all day. But then when I click on the link it asks me to log in.

Anyone know if there will be a free way to watch today?
