I really liked Sinead’s commentary. I thought she did a great job.
I’m wondering how this works since he doesn’t live in the US, do they give him a UK version? or is it just for show haha
Do they not to a victory gallop or are they just not showing it?
It’s starting at 4 I believe.
He will get a lease in the UK.
lmao the minute tom got a rail i turned the stream off. going to pretend he and yaz killed it and oliver isn’t there
He often rides that way.
First time I’d been to the event in 5 years, had an amazing time. The weather was and saw some great riding. A real class event that gets better and better. Hoping Maryland can get to this point after some time.
Third time staying in Lex for the 3 day and if you haven’t been to the event, I really recommend it! Lexington is a fantastic little city, and the Horse Park is really top notch. Just hope that one year I make it when a US rider wins LOL.
Can someone please link me to Katie’s Facebook page re bitting issue? I would really like to see what this bit looks like. Have never heard of a tack check after SJ resulting in an E. Terribly sad for her whole team.
LOL, I expected the Grand Slam possibility to be the first thing John Kyle went to when Tom and Dublin dropped the rail, but I think it took him until after a commercial break.
Thats Sharon White and Claus 63!
This is the first year I noticed that watching the ceremony. Like WTF, a lease? You can’t even resell a lease; what’s the point in a non-horse trailer-towing vehicle across the world that you can’t sell? Does it get a cash value?
I did love watching Bug again, and how he just whips around those turns on SJ. As a rider of a pony-sized Arab, I laugh at all the comments of how a 15.3 hh horse is “tiny” but it does change how you ride a course, the littles are generally just so much more agile they can make up time in tight turns. And he and Lauren do it masterfully.
I think Oliver Townend has a fleet of Equitrek trucks. Who needs to tow a stinkin’ trailer ? He is probably motoring around in his 2023 Burghley Defender. I guess somebody on that yard may get lucky.
do you want to send that to Will? He rides the horse, not me. Today, he called him dee uh BOLO, like Polo.
I don’t think riding a horse assures correct pronunciation.
If only he rode a horse called Aluminum.
Oh give it a rest. Who cares.
I think COTH has assumed new levels of pedantry on this thread.
Are we going to now run around red-inking all of American Pharoah’s records because it’s not spelled “correctly”?
@Djones LOL.
And seriously, I don’t know Will Coleman, but he seems like a nice fellow, is a great rider, and has a hilarious sense of humor, based on his jog suit. Taking some nasty crack at him because you don’t like the pronunciation of his horse’s name? Really?
