With both regular and preferred parking I’ve always gone back to the car with no problems. I’ve never left but I’ve seen people eating lunch in their cars.

Does anyone happen to know yet what color the volunteer shirts are this year? I’m packing and would like to at least TRY to coordinate but I have no idea what color to expect.
The Grayson Jockey Club booth always does a bag check!

Speaking of shopping I’ve been really disappointed in the official tent in recent years. I miss the fun colored tshirts they used to have. It seems like they had more variety. Not such small tiny sizes and overly expensive stuff. I use to stock up and now I find almost nothing I actually like.
I no longer see Boyd and Thomas on the list at all. Am I missing them?

How much time would you recommend for Keeneland? I’m going for my first time with DH, who while not terribly interested in horses, actually seemed kinda interested in going to Keeneland.
As much time as you like. We were probably there for 2 hours? Watched some horses breeze, wandered along the barn areas, it’s busy and pretty and they have a pretty great breakfast, too.

I think the jogs are just streamed on Facebook. The usef with Clip my horse is airing the competition. They will slap some of it on espn2 but just a blob of it I’m guessing.

I spent a couple of hours there and was satisfied. I got breakfast and sat and watched them breeze horses for about an hour. I didn’t want to miss anything at KY so I got there early and left around 9.

Same, it was just the right amount of time.
I hope so, I sweat a lot and was dreading wearing a colored shirt with pit stains all day Saturday. But black would be good.

You absolutely can go back and forth to the car if you are in the Preferred Parking lot, we have done that just about daily for the last several years! Even in years where we totally weren’t going to buy anything, definitely didn’t need anything and absolutely weren’t going to take home more stuff

Hmmm I have the tv on ESPN for some noise this morning, and I just saw a promo for Kentucky! It said Sat at 11 on ESPN 2 I think. So I pulled up the guide and saw basketball instead. Who knows? I am thrilled for whatever coverage we can get, but ESPN? They don’t even cover horse racing.
it looks like he might be there, thought I saw someone hacking him online. Maybe he is doing the test ride.
