Keuring re-present, yay/nay?

Hoping to get some insight on whether re-presenting is worth the effort. I have a KWPN mare that I purchased ~5 years ago that was evaluated as a 3 yr old and just missed Ster rating, entered into the studbook. I haven’t much worried about it as she is my sporthorse/dressage for now, but there is a Keuring scheduled this year that is very local to me. So I’m tempted to give her another shot.

Is it worth re-presenting her as an older horse to see if maturity can pip her over into Ster? Has anyone bothered to re-present a mare?

Could you contact the team/location putting on the local Kuering and ask their thoughts?

It might help sell any future foals if the mare is “ster”.

Yes, I think in cases where the score is close to what you need for Ster/Premium, etc it is worth representing a mare at a later date. We do ours at 3yrs old generally to be sure that it is done, secure for future breeding, etc. but they develop so much in the next year or two that I do think they will score a bit better later on. Some scores (limbs, etc) aren’t likely to change but movement, general impression, etc will/should improve.
