Came to comment about Accelerate, but someone beat me to it! I’m excited to go visit both of them when I’m there for the 3-day next year.
Here’s the information from Paulick. Is he having breeding problems or not siring winners? Good to have another great racehorse at the Park!
Accelerate only has four crops on the ground; he went to stud in 2019. None of his offspring thus far has accomplished much on the track - 4 stakes-placed horses and one stakes winner.
Could be fertility or lack of interest - he only bred nine mares in 2023. His sire, Lookin’ At Lucky, is staying in Chile after the southern hemisphere breeding season concludes; he’s performed well as a sire there. He did better than decently in the US, so I’m not sure why he’s not coming back.
