Kids, Collies, Poodles...and puppy vs adult?

Wonderful!

No, no, don’t try to raise two puppies together, too many pitfalls to count.

You did great and yes, hugely cute those puppies.

You did good, grasshopper!:applause:

Now, do you have any pictures to share, maybe, perhaps?

Yes, 9 weeks or so is great, 6 is way too early, better let the mother and other siblings start teaching bite inhibition, easier on the humans.

I got my puppy ten years ago at 11 weeks, sure helps with the housebreaking when they can hold it longer, just have to supervise a bit closer from the start, they are more into things then.

Now, did you mention pictures?

Now I want a collie :frowning:

Both my aunt and uncle had them when I was wee little (my uncle had Duke and Luke. My aunt had Dutchess). They were AMAZING. I used to walk Dutchess, by myself (as a wee kid…probably not even 10) all over my aunt’s neighborhood. Seeing descriptions of nanny dogs makes me think she was probably walking me. So, now I want a collie!!!

So glad you got a poodle! You won’t be sorry.

Now, where are the pics? You can’t make a post like that (we got a puppy!!!) without providing pics–it’s a CoTH rule.

pictures and name???lol…happy for you and your puppy…must be tons of fun!!!
