Hello all!
I am looking for a lesson barn that focuses on eventing/dressage for my 5 year old. She has been walking around on my eventer but needs something more her size. 16.2 is a bit overmounted! lol. I want her to learn from the beginning a proper seat. I would like to get her riding before we invest in buying a pony though that is a definite in the near future. Thank you!
I take my 6 year old to Cool Breeze Equine near Middleburg. Kay Pfaff is the trainer and she does a great job with the kids.
She mostly has horses though, not ponies. So they work on seat and steering but there’s always a handler.
I worked with Jill Thomas when we were working students. She now has her own place between Middleburg and Aldie. I think the address is actually Middleburg, but she has several younger students and a growing program. I believe her Facebook is Jill Thomas Eventing
