Hi All,
Looking for an instructor for my little girl in Pittsburgh, PA. Leadline (or even just sitting still), learning to groom and learning the parts of the pony/tack, nothing fancy. I just need an appropriately sized pony and an instructor (who is not her mother!). Safety and doing things the proper way are paramount. She won’t be able to do much actual riding, but I want her to have a good foundation if she decides to continue as she gets older.
Right now she is desperate to go to the barn and “groom” or “ride” but my horse is not interested in indulging her, nor are any others at my barn.
I’ve tried to get in touch with Cindy McCullough, but am having an impossible time reaching her. Does anyone have good contact info?
Thanks!
You can try Meghan Sullivan at Chapter Three Farms in Cabot (near Saxonburg). She has an adorable pony and is good with kids.
Cindy McCullough in Sewickley is wonderful. Blackburn Stables. Love her!!!

Did you read the first post? OP is looking for a way to reach her. Do you love her enough to know a way to do that?!
OP, I lessoned at Bar Gee as a kid, though I started when I was older than your daughter. They always had a nice string of lesson horses/ponies. I have moved away so I don’t know what the situation is now, but it’s another idea.
Pretty sure I had the same problem with Cindy McCullough so I just went in person
Please shoot me a PM. My husband does a ton of work in that area and knows many of the trainers on a first name basis. I’d be more than happy to put you in touch with him so you can pick his brain. He’s actually in Butler today, tomorrow, and Sunday and is in the Pittsburgh area about every two weeks.
