It also states he was syndicated. So, here’s my question- I am assuming that Ramsey’s held on to roughly half of the horse. What are the shares in a 16 year old stallion- with a wonderful pedigree and record- worth?
I believe Ramsey has retained 49% ownership. As to how the syndication in this case works…I am unsure if John Sikura secured investors prior to purchasing the remaining 51%, or if he’s gambling that enough people will step in and buy shares. Hard to say what the shares are worth since we don’t know the overall purchase price, or how many shares are on offer.
Maybe gumtree could give us some more informed speculation…
