Klimke-Miller, Stubben Avalon, Passier Relevant--what else?

I’ve sat in a lot of used saddles over the last couple of years in the moderate price range and I like these 3. Turns out my Klimke-Miller is not going to work for my horse (sob). The panels are not flat enough. He’s not wide but has a flat (width-wise) back (Dutch harness cross). There were several Albion saddles at the consignment shop where I was browsing that all had quite flat panels, but I didn’t like any of them (I don’t know why!).

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas about other models that has flatter panels that might feel similarly to one of these 3? (Oh, there was also a KN saddle that I liked but I don’t know the model). I’m not sure really what they have in common.

Sigh. I hate saddle shopping.

The Passier Optimum is very similar to the Relevant. Do you know the type of panels on the model you tried? Passier will give you panel info if you email them with the serial number.

I don’t know. It wasn’t the right size for my horse–I just liked it when I sat in it. But I will check out the Optimum. Thanks!
