Personal experience here. I had a similar issue with a custom made saddle. It fit me and fit my horse per more than one saddle fitter. My leg kept creeping forward. Upon advice of a fitter, I tried a different saddle with a bigger thigh block but a narrower waist. Like magic, my leg stays OFF the thigh block and actually behind it.
So yes, the saddle does NOT fit you.
You may not notice it with smaller blocks because when your leg is ON the smaller block it is less noticable! You don’t notice it on more sensitive horses because you don’t need as much leg - and using the leg means moving it, and moving it permits it to get out of position.
