Kudos to Solo Equine!

During Thanksgiving week, I ordered a Salvatore double bridle from Solo Equine. Stephen, the owner of Solo Equine, shipped the bridle right away with priority mail.

From 11/27 through 12/18, USPS did not scan the package at all so I assumed it was lost. I know mail is super slow right now with Christmas and Covid but this seemed like way too long for a priority package to be lost.

On 12/14, I asked Stephen to send me a new bridle and he did so right away at no extra charge. On 12/18, the original bridle was delivered to me and on 12/19, the new bridle was delivered to me. I mailed one of the bridles back to Stephen today and he offered to pay for shipping but I said no since this wasn’t his fault.

On top of this excellent customer service, the bridle I received is absolutely beautiful. This was the second Solo Equine bridle I have purchased. I highly recommend their bridles; what a fantastic small business!

I have a Solo Equine bridle that I love! And when my horse stepped on a rein and broke a cheekpiece (my stupid fault!) I e-mailed to ask if I could get cob-sized since it was a bit long on him, Stephen sent me a pair at no charge!

Solo Equine is hands down one of my favourite equestrian companies, and not just because they are Canadian. Their customer service is superb, and unlike many companies that experience really rapid growth, they have never let service slide.

And I love the quality, design and price point of their bridles

They look like beautiful bridles. I wish they would make them in brown as well, though I understand that a vast majority of dressage riders have black tack.

They have - or least use to have - a brown and black combo that is stunning, and some of their earliest models came in brown. Off to have a good look through site now to see what’s available

ETA looks like the Solo Stellar is available in brown with black padding or brown with white padding. I didn’t check the SoloX line, which are their higher end bridles.

Yes, they used to as I have one of the last ones that came in brown. Stephen actually had to dig through the warehouse and I think he might have put it together with extra pieces  I think mine is similar (or is) the Satin model. I get compliments on it all the time.

It doesn’t look like any of the Solo X line comes in brown. I guess there wasn’t enough demand for brown, although at the time I got mine, a whole shipment of brown had come in and sold out before I could even order, and I was checking the website at least once a week.

ETA - I have the last all-brown bridle. I didn’t want the two-tone brown/black, although seeing it in photos it is quite nice.
