KWPN Stallion Uphill (Oscar X Apollonios xx)?

Wanted to know what type of producer this young stallion has been so far? He was heavily used in 2009 and looks like was used in the US the years after that. I just ran accross a prospect by him and I dont know anything about him and what he is producing.
Searched COTH but only found threads about him comming available for breeding and expecting foals.
Those who have used him what did he produce for you and those who have seen his get what is the overall impression?
What type of temperment and movement is he producing?

Thanks

He seems to be doing well in The Netherlands… three of his sons made it to the third selection of the stallion approvals, and out of those one was approved for testing.

I don’t think Uphill has been used very much in the US- maybe because of the TB motherline?

I p.m. ed you.

We have had two foals by him full siblings. Both won their keuring classes as foals and last year our yearling, Hocus Pocus P (Uphill x Houston x G. Ramiro Z) was #3 Dressage Yearling KWPN-NA.

In 2012, the #1 KWPN-NA Dressage Foal was a stunning Uphill.

He is a super stallion with fantastic frozen semen. I have seen many of his foals and really like what he is producing. His foals have great minds we will be starting our coming three year old soon. His oldest foal crop born in NA is just coming riding age now.

We can not wait to have another Uphill.

Agree with Prima. We had a super Uphill filly. We also bred to his approved son Carlton Hill who is doing super in Sweden. We have his frozen here and distribute for the owners in Holland. We will use it again! A super line.

I have a friend who has an Uphill x Flemmingh. 17+ hands at 2 1/2, really good character.

We currently have two fillies and two geldings all sired by Uphill. They are out of mares sired by Farrington, Havidoff and Sandro Hit. They have excellent conformation, super temperaments and they are very easy to handle. We are excited about starting the three 3 year olds this year.

Uphill’s frozen semen is outstanding. Our foals were all conceived with a single dose, even the two embryo transfers. We are very pleased with our Uphill youngsters and we plan to breed one of our mares to Uphill’s son Carlton Hill (mv Vincent) this year. If you breed to Uphill, I doubt that you will be disappointed.
