Labeling your items/laundry service

First world problems here - silly question!

My new barn has laundry service, which is great, but I need a better way of labeling my things (baby pads, polos, standing wraps, etc) so they end up back in my trunk instead of getting mixed up with other client’s items!

Any suggestions? I tried a silver sharpie on my black polo wraps, but it washed away. Do I suck it up and get everything monogrammed? What’s worked in the past for you guys?

they do make laundry pens specific for marking cloth

Camp tags. I have some wraps I put camp tags on over a decade ago and they’re still there!

Pink nailpolish.

I 2nd the Sharpie!
At least for white or light colored things.
I have a saddle pad that is over 20yrs old (marked (on the billet strap) that is still visible.
For the black polos you could put a cross-stitch of brightly colored embroidery thread on the velcro.

PERFECT! A quick google search found plenty of iron on labels! Thanks, guys!

A pleasure!

There are also laundry tags that are stick on (no iron required) that work pretty well. Martha Stewart used to sell really good ones, but I don’t think they are available any more. Embroidery is my go to for the nicer stuff and lasts practically forever (a bonus if you’re ordering from SmartPak you can order the embroidery if you don’t have a local source for that).

Iron-on nametags.

I’ll have to search for those, it would be easier than bringing everything home to iron on a label

I think I’ll be ordering everything from here on out with a monogram, but for my existing stuff these labels sound great!

Label Land - https://label-land.com/clothing-labels

Haven’t used their clothing labels, but my phone, cameras and lenses, water bottle, crops, half chaps and a medley of other items are labeled with their waterproof labels.

I really like Oliver’s mini-labels for the stick-on ones, because they are simple look like they are for adults. http://www.oliverslabels.com/labels-…erproof-labels

They also do iron-ons:

These two products, combined, have basically replace monograms and sharpies in my life.

I think laundry sorting is a problem for all of us. In fact I was actually searching for a few tips on how to sort clothes properly yesterday. Found this link, I think it’ll help us all… http://findlaundromatnearme.com/laundry-tips-hacks/

Btw I’ve also tried using tags, and they work really awesome too…some of them seem to stick for ever, you can buy them off amazon, or you can also make custom tags…this video might help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6K9pEEDlmo
