I need something with more support for my trashed ankles than regular cowboy boots - I’ve found there’s a real difference in my comfort when riding in my paddock boots + half chaps compared to my cowboy boots. I’ve looked at the Ariat lacers, but would prefer something a bit taller. Does such a thing exist?
I’ve never seen anything taller than the “standard” western lace boot.
Why not just ride with your paddock boots and half chaps?

A quick google reveals that the default height for most lacers (Justin, Ariat…) is 8 inches. Packers are generally higher, in the 9 to 12 inch range.
