F![](rst, I have to mention that Jet is a SAINT! On Sunday, she got attacked by yellow jackets, stung at least a dozen times, and all she did was toss her head once, and rub it on her leg. Today, after we swam, I was ponying Polly, who was being a pack pony, back up the hill. The backpack attached to Polly’s saddle had slid sideways, so I leaned way over to grab it. It was really heavy, and the weight pulled me and my (not quite tight, oops) saddle right off Jet’s side. I was able to do an emergency dismount, but my saddle ended up under Jet’s belly. She just stood there looking at me with a “Could you fix that, please?” look. We were on the edge of a big drop-off, and her steadiness was, as is usual, my saving grace.
So, here’s the fun. I do love these horses.

Jet and Polly - I love P’s face when she swims. She looks awful, but she loves the water.
