Laminitis /or club foot?/

Well… I would expect someone to GIVE me a horse with feet like that, but I sure wouldnt be paying for her. Wow.

Just to update you guys, she went lame about two weeks ago, and we just assumed it was in her RF hoof. So we waited til the farrier (the bad one) came out to check her this past wednesday, but by then she was swollen and warm in her fetlock area, on the outside, which the farrier/owner diagnosed as a strained lower suspensory? I’m a little fed up with the whole issue… they’re not even going to call the vet out to check it to be a 100% sure what it is…

But from what I’ve read of this type of injury… they might come back from it, but there’s a high chance of it reoccurring… and since I’m looking for a horse that can jump and do occasional shows… I’m just going to start looking for other horses.

Just wanted to let you guys know what the final outcome was.

Thanks for updating. You made a wise choice to walk away.

So the farrier and owner both have Xray and ultrasound vision. Wow. I am good but not that good. I wish I were Superwoman and could do that.

Poor mare…

does it have to be just one foot to be clubbed foot?
