Question is: What do those devils do to ground cloth? I’m thinking of using it as underlayment in and around the barn area–under the runs, stalls, and so on.
Please tell me they don’t like it & never gnaw holes in it.

Snort…your ground cloth will be fine. As long as its not between a rodent and where that rodent wants to be.
the one time I used it the little bastards chewed it up and used it for nest material.
But, maybe your rodents will be more considerate…
I don’t know about squirrels… but my pony sure likes pulling up all the ground cloth!
