Laube Lazor clippers

We’ve had a trusty pair of Andis clippers for several years now but it’s become very clear they are dying. I will likely have them refurbished as a back up pair eventually but i need something with a bit more power for legs and and detail areas, plus is quieter and good enough to do the body on some of my more sensitive horses. I have a pair of Andis cordless cattle and horse clippers that are a bit loud for two of my horses so the new pair would need to be strong enough to do them as well.

any experience with them? A friend of mine had the Laube Mini Lazor clippers which is how i heard about them. She really liked them, but i never got a chance to use them.

Bumping this to ask about how hot they run. I used a pair of them (borrowed from a friend- i think they were Laube Lazors, not the mini lazor) and while i liked the way they cut, they ran super hot. I spoke to my friend and he seemed to think this particular pair was just in need of servicing because that hadn’t been his experience with other sets in the past. My alternative would be the Andis two speed clippers which are cheaper and actually seemed to run cooler, but didn’t have the cutting power!

also, when i say they ran hot, i mean within five minutes on the lower speed setting i had to put them down because my hands couldn’t hold them.
