Agree - she was really much more impressive than the “meh” chart relates. Had a great start. Was a little concerned with this being her first outing and getting in tight, but she really persevered and never backed off.
Also love her way of going.

CVPeg, I’m so glad you placed a bet! We did too because we hoped she was sitting on a good first race. Those long odds just made the day sweeter.
I think whoever wrote the chart wasn’t watching her during the race (probably, again, because of her odds.) I laughed when I saw it said she was six wide on the turn when she was on the 1-2 path for nearly the entire race.

Hah, a strong second after being “6 wide on the turn” won’t hurt a first time starters reputation even if whoever wrote the recap was FOS.
Lesson there about spending too much faith in charts over watching the actual race.
