Lawsuit in Florida - alleged fraud in sale of Fabrege - Case settled - post #340

What about the 3 years she served in jail

That’s a fair point.

However… they did choose to do “business” with this person. Her background is pretty public… I would imagine they were aware of the criminal conviction going into this deal. I know MANY MANY professionals in MANY fields who would NEVER enter a partnership of any kind with someone who had a criminal record like that. But BM and CR went forward with this. Why is that?

And somehow or other, scary Ruthann is now out $400,000, and apparently her ownership stake in the horse is disputed, the seller is withholding the papers from everyone, but the actual horse is in BM’s custody.

So so if BM and CR are concerned for their safety, or that of their kids… perhaps they should make an offer to settle with her. Stat. Or ship that horse to a trainer of her choosing. Stat. Just a thought.

I’ll take the bait. My guess is that you’re CR’s mother.

If I were CR I would be concerned, but the smart thing would’ve been to take that into consideration before going into business with a convicted felon.

Ooh, a challenge! Should we pm you or post it here?

Virginia horse mom, lol …

touché, except

Not if Ruth was using alias. What are you going g to do hire a privet detective for every person who comes along wanting to invest a horse?! Like wow!! Wouldn’t anyone be estatic! Maybe you finally caught your big break, maybe someone believes in you after all, and yes, after extensive research, and everything is clean, why would you think that this person is a convicted felon and using a fake name. But I guess you know everything right, because you saw all the contracts and talk to these people… yourjust right…Just because your… Virginia horse mom. Ok.

Tami- no I’m not CR’s mom. I don’t even have kids. I wanted to make a ridiculous screen name. It was between getAjob and wizardsSleeve, or my personal favorite, SukAtRidingSoTalkSmak. Oh wait I just came up with one better! Hashtag tooMuchTimeOnHands,
sadly there is NO posts about me at all, darn, I wanted to feel important. Anyways, if anyone gets it right I will reveal, I have no shame, No criminal record, no law suits, but a few GP wins. But I’m not coming out I’m going to hide behind youmom so that if I offend any idiot talking about something they have absolutely no clue about, I can put them in there place with cold hard facts and not loose any Business or clients.

Bring it

What are your expectations by posting here?

If Dressage Hub could ferret out Ruth’s identity, why couldn’t a few professionals do it?

Oh okay. Good plan.

So is the lesson here to always fully vet your intended victims?

Yes, I am deeply concerned for the children. Growing up with con artist parents must be hard on one’s psyche.

As for CR and BM’s safety – well, if you try to scam a by-proxy-murderer out of $400k, well… stupid hurts.

Exactly.

Who are the two old lady’s? What’s with that random picture. That was … worthless

Um, the woman bought a horse and didn’t get any documentation, etc… And I’m pretty sure that CR settled on her last fraud suit with a big ole NDA-- not something innocent people typically do.

And nope, not dumb – my speaking abilities are just fine. Thanks!

You seem awfully close to them, and have a lot of sympathy.

But they’re the ones who got screwed? How exactly? The lawsuit and reports indicate Ruthann did wire money, and the horse did ship to them. Are you saying Silvia screwed them?

Your command of the English language is incredible.

Bless your little heart, honey. I’d love to stay and play, but I find it’s best to ignore children when they throw temper tantrums. Perhaps you need a nap?

Virginia horse mom,

Ok!! yes! finally someone who wants to ask actual questions, instead of spitting their opinions and calling it facts. I’m sorry for being a horses but to you earlier. I will reply to your questions in the AM. Have to sleep.

I hope people realize that posting “details” that they are privy to online during an active lawsuit is a really bad way to assist those you might be trying to defend. The internet is public…

Weird.

So name your horse something else and don’t worry about what someone else does. All of those laughing faces make your post sound very odd, despite the point you may be trying to make. And pretty green eyed as well regarding the “1%.”

should there be ratios, in your opinion, of white to black athletes having horses named after them, as you mention name choosing being made equably? If so, around 75% of NBA athletes are black. You could keep track if you’re really interested. I’m not sure exactly where the bias is coming from here.

I wonder how one one can be accountable for a horse name.

Spent the morning reading up on Ruthann Aron. Fascinating stuff. I will be sure to watch her episode of Snapped when it comes around.

Side note: I miss Dominick Dunne.

when all is said and done, just because she is a convicted felon doesn’t mean she has no right to invest in a horse. Four people that deserve each other, sounds like.
