Layover facility in Memphis?

I am looking for a layover facility in Memphis. Only two horses, but ideally something with on site cabins or rooms so we aren’t having to go to a hotel. Traveling from Austin to the KY horse park July 19th and the other way August 4th.

I’ve looked on horse motels, but personal recs always appreciated!

I did almost that same trip 2 years ago but from Selma and stayed here on the way to KHP (https://www.horsemotel.com/ZZTennesseeComments.html#southern) but I had to drive to Jackson for a hotel. I left early enough that I drove the whole way back on the return but wish I’d stopped somewhere. There wasn’t anything between Arkansas and Dallas area which was where I would have liked to stop.

If you route through Oklahoma I highly recommend https://www.i44horsehotel.com/ and they do have an apartment in the barn. I stayed there on the way home from Lamplight last year and if I was doing Pony Cup again this year definitely would have stayed there at least on the way back if not on the way there as well.

Not Memphis, but a friend has stayed in Goodletsville twice.
Google shows me it is 3h West of Memphis.

Once she came with one horse, last year with 8.
She can’t recall the barn name, but the guy who owns it is Shane
Ph# 661-618-3922

Look up Kimberlin Farms…I have a friend who boards there and they are opening a B and B. I/m not sure when it will be officially open, though. Location in Olive Branch, MS just about 10 miles southeast of Memphis.

Never tried it but saw an ad for something called horse air b&b (bed and bale) maybe check it out?

Agriplace. Its not ideal but probably your best bet if it NEEDS to be in Memphis, Memphis. I saw your FB post and have been trying to rack my brain from where I lived there.

You could also probably FB Michael Tokaruk? His place is in Collierville!

It doesn’t NEED to be Memphis, but I do need to split it and I can’t do longer than a 10 hour day on the road. I can’t make it to brownland

I would NOT reccomend staying in Memphis if you are not familar with the area. Wayyyy outside city limits with the horses, maybe. But dont get a hotel room in the city!!! I know from experience

What about midsouth dressage academy? Right south of memphis, and have onsite “hotel” rooms.
