Layover farm in the Cheyenne, WY or Fort Collins, CO area?

Hi COTHers,

At the end of August, I’m going to be taking my mare westward via I-80 to California, where she’s retiring with my parents in the Grass Valley area. We’ve driven from NY to MN every year and gone straight through, but I think it would be better for all involved if we stopped about halfway on our MN --> CA trip just for a night so everyone could get some sleep.

Does anyone know of (or have) any barns that might be open to this? I obviously would pay for it, and would greatly appreciate suggestions.

Thanks!

My friends have a favorite layover barn in, I think, Laramie. I’ll ask her and then post the information.

Possibly this place?

That’s the one!

I will ask some friends in Cheyenne. There is also a hunter-jumper barn in Fort Collins, plus CSU.

Maybe ask Deeda Randle? She has a farm in Cheyenne.
