iSO: a lesson barn near Moorpark that has horses that can do over 2’6" for lessons or summer lease. Searching for a friend that spends summers there.
My first and most obvious choice would be Elvenstar, which is teeming with horses to lesson on and lease, usually. Foxfield is not terribly far from Moorpark as well, and would definitely have what your friend is looking for.
My most favorite choice would be Jeni Brown/Shadowbrook who is an amazing horsewoman with fantastic lessons. I can’t say enough great things about her, her horses, and her program. I’m just not sure that she would have something to lesson on or lease but it’s worth a call.
Far West Farms in Calabasas! I spent summers there as a junior and they are wonderful.
