Lessons/Barn for adult rider near Longview, Tx?

With work and home obligations I don’t really want to drive out to Tyler if I don’t have to, but that looks like where all the barns are? We moved to Kilgore after being in the RGV for 4 years and I was wondering if there was something around here? I haven’t ridden this whole time. My bank account was overjoyed. I would love to get my legs back under me with a couple of lessons/hacks each week to get going, find a horse to lease, and own another one if the opportunity presents itself. Hunter and/or jumper. I did both in the A/Os years ago and had up to 4 horses at one point. I don’t even have to jump anything right now if someone had a horse for lease that could only do flatwork. I just want to ride again preferably close by as I could ride more frequently.

Karen Gay at Oaklawn Stables in Lufkin - great trainer. She’s been there for decades. That’s probably too far a drive, but she might have some recommendations if you call her.

Pink Crown Farms is tucked up right in Longview!! Beautiful facility, and the trainer Kristen Stinson is mega. https://www.facebook.com/Pink-Crown-Farms-157262047667270/

I was going to suggest Pink Crown Farms as well. I do not know a lot about the trainer or barn, but we sold a lesson horse to them and they seemed like very nice people during the transaction.

It’s switched management a few times throughout the years, I rode there under a different trainer, but Kristen is out there now and she’s great. I think Pam Grace teaches dressage too these days?

This was just last year, if I remember correctly, and I’m fairly certain it was Kristen involved.

Pam Grace is awesome in her own right. lol

Oh my - that farm really is pink! Thank you. That is pretty much what I was looking for. I knew the COTH hive mind would come through.
