Let's Play: Find this Saddle... (maybe Spanish breed people??)

So I’m on the hunt for a comfy English or Dressage saddle. Doesn’t have to be a pure English or Dressage saddle but needs to put me in a secure, correct position as I have some physical (ie health) requirements that make me need a more comfy saddle than normal.

With that said, anyone know what saddle this is?

The image I’m talking about is of a man riding a dark brown Spanish breed horse across a bridge. Saddle is a light tan color. The image is about 1/3 way down the page on the left.

Didn’t find that one exactly, but try searching for Portuguese dressage or Alta Escuela saddles, maybe? Zaldi makes a ton of different ones, some of which are similar to the one you posted: http://www.zaldi.com/catalogo/2-sillas#page=16&s=
The Alta Escuelas look like they usually have a more built up pommel and cantle…

Down at the bottom of that page is a form where you can send them a message. Why not ask them what sort of saddle that is?

OP, Google Images… Portuguese bullfighting saddles. I can’t make the link work.

You could try www.elsuenoespanol.com

Is it this one?

Thanks all, I sent them off a message to see if they knew.

I do like the look of the Zaldi one.

Also try kuda saddlery. The show saddles (Gold Cup and Masters) are sort of between these and a dressage saddle. VERY deep and comfy.

Have you considered an Aussie saddle? The one I have is like a dressage saddle, but with with ginormous knee blocks

Seriously, though, I think they hold you in place better than any other type I’ve ridden in (have never ridden in a Spanish saddle, tho)

I saw something like that on Friesian tack site.
