Been riding these for coming up on 8 months or so, already onto my second set of soles:

Bit narrow for my wide foot, but once broken in, they’ve been good.

My heel chains had broken just before the photos were done, so the spurs weren’t sitting properly, but oh well.
Awesome picture, Aktill.
Do you all prefer pull holes or pull straps on your boots? I hate the pull holes. I think it ruins the look.
Can’t say I mind either, particularly. One has the risk of the tabs pulling out, the other can fray at the holes.
I like both, and I have boots with both. But I might have slight leaning towards pull holes. I like both the functionality and the look.
Long story but it goes well with this thread:
My cousin in a park ranger (ohio). He and his wife attended a square dance where he introduced himself to a guy who had on this beautiful pair of hand made western boots. Introduced himself just so he could ask about this pair of boots. About a month later my cousin gets a call over his radio that there is a man down/injured out on one of the horse trails. When my cousin gets to the location all he can see at first is the same beautiful boots sticking out from under the bushes! And it’s like ‘Oh, Oh’ I know this guy.
Long story shortened to say guy made full recovery from a bad fall off his horse.
