Please…don’t try a goat!! They are fragile and not up to dealing with an aggressive horse!!! Ones I had were with horses that LOVED them…never wanted to harass or injure them. When goats get scared…they tend to scream…making the horse more aggressive!!

I wouldn’t leave a goat in if he got aggressive with it. He loves dogs, and is very careful not to hurt them. It doesn’t matter anyway, I don’t have the appropriate fencing for a goat.
Donkey might be the right fit, ugh, wish I could borrow one to see before committing to buy!
And one more thing: Our donkey is adorable. Everyone who sees him loves him instantly, and vice versa.
Where are you located? I’d be happy to loan my girl, if you’re close. I also have a mare I’d let you try - she’s a butthead, so it might work.
