Lexie is away at summer camp, daughter took her over to Louisiana for an Eventing summer camp, she has Lexie in the Green Horse division as Lexie has not done much other than Dressage and Working Ranch horse.
So summer camp it is for the now eight year old pony (officially a pony now at 14h even)
So cute. 
oh wow that sounds like so much fun!! I went to “Horse camp” as a horse obsessed 7 year old and loved it but we didnt get to train for any particular sport, we just wandered the trails. I would have loved a sport-specific camp where I could take my horse. Lucky kiddo!!
Don’t you wish there were camps like this for adult ammy’s who need a darn break from reality? I’d sure go in a heartbeat. I guess the closest thing is actually showing and camping over.
Lexie came back telling me she enjoyed the change of pace, daughter evented her one of her other Morgans Mulligan for a long time. Mulligan just did not respect the stadium jumping aspect thinking those jumps were not a challenge as he could clear over five feet with ease which frustrated her. The courses were no problem for him.

we have always offered the horses the chance of changing disciplines or doing multiple disciplines at the same time, just means having a lot of tack
hope she made friends!!
oh Lexie is very sociable but really does not like to be in the ring with another horse when she thinks she is the Star,
this last weekend she was a show where her sister Lily was also, Lily is about a hand and half taller than Lexie
daughter was asked to present Lily in a Hunter class where she placed second I think she is to ride Lily at Nationals also, so basically another free horse,

As for Lexie. she racked up some wins, these are most of her ribbons
And Lexie starts school this Thursday morning, she will have dressage class every Thursday until Nationals
