"Lighthoof equine mud management"

Hi

This appears to be a relatively new product in New Zealand.

https://www.lighthoof.com/

I am looking at options for an all weather arena at home, and this has become an option. Does anyone have any feedback on it in regards to being used as a base for an all weather arena?

Thanks

Oh I want something like that for my future barn! So 60’ X 120’ area is about $2000 just for the cells. Does that include the underlayment plastic stuff?

You might want to check your math there. $199 for a 6’x12’ panel means your 60’x120’ would be more like $20,000 (you’d need 100 panels).

there have been several threads on that type of product. If memory serves, the verdict is that if the horses paw, dig, gallop around, or slide to a stop, etc it gets torn up.

If horses stand around posing like the ones in the add, it may work.

Also keep in mind it will raise the ground level about 4 inches so gates, door clearance, and gutter down spouts, may need adjusting.
